« “The Centenary of Pinocchio, between 1981 and 1983, was structured across exhibitions and initiatives worldwide. To set the visual tone, the first and quite extraordinary illustrations by Mazzanti, Chiostri and Mussinowere recolored and updated to be used. The first Pinocchio by Enrico Mazzanti, leitmotiv of the event, was also built as a nine meters high silhouette. This accompanied the exhibitions in all countries of the world.»
